ABOUT THE W HOUSE

The original wood structure was built in the 1930’s as a split-level, two room cottage on the west side of one of the higher hills of Candlewood Lake. Since then, the house has been added on to as its different owners tailored it throughout the years to fit their specific needs.

In 2013, Mike bought the house as a weekend home, with plans to slowly update it, beginning with the master bathroom and bedroom. I joined the renovation efforts in the spring of 2016.
